Early 15th Century Tapestry. Cluny Museum - Paris. Against a background of leaves and flowers, a lady is offered a casked from the hands of her page, while a couple is advancing towards them. All the characters are dressed in the Italian fashion which was introduced in France after Charles VIII conquered Naples in 1495.
