This collection is based on Pieter Bruegel work.
Late in the 1550s, Bruegel began a series of large painted panels with
complex compositions depicting various aspects of Flemish folk life.
Here, the tapestry stresses the absurdity and vulgarity by depicting scenes
of peasant life, full of zest and fine details. It also exposes human
weaknesses and follies.
